“a melody :: a thousand songs”: the compositions
The composer’s community project (ccp) is starting with the experiment “a melody :: a thousand songs”.
A diversity of compositions are generated on the basement of a few melodic themes, that have one thing in common: recognizable melodies. The pieces are collected in a playlist and presented here in this blog. They illustrate how diverse and various compositions all created on the same basis can be!

The Composers
Leonard Eröd
Bassoonist, arranger and music educator. He received many prizes and was often heard as a bassoon soloist in Austria and abroad. 2003 he got a member of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz and moved 2007 to the Radio Symphony Orchestra (RSO) in Vienna.
John Strieder
John Strieder, born 1980 in Germany, is a composer and artist. He is one of the founders of the microtonal improvisation project ‘Indifferent Magma’. His music almost exclusively depicts inner
processes, being an expression of emotional, intellectual and philosophical content, conveyed through music.

Johannes Hoppe
Johannes Hoppe lives in Chemnitz/Germany and studied music (major subject classical singing and voice education) for about 7 years. Furthermore a 3 years training of sound engineering and entertaining. Since 2004 he owns a recording studio.
